The Lake Placid Sinfonietta presents the last of its six Symphony Series concerts "The Planets." This celestial evening will begin with the world premiere of “Winter Skies," a newly commissioned work by
Sinfonietta trumpeter Steven Franklin. The season will conclude with a unique chamber orchestra arrangement of Gustav Holst’s “The Planets,” accompanied by a slide show provided by the Adirondack Sky Center in Tupper Lake. Concertgoers are invited to join the artists for a complimentary reception following the performance.
