Free Summer Performances!

On Tuesday nights in July the Social Center presents a children's performance at 6 pm and a lawn concert at 7 pm – rain or shine.

Bring a lawn chair! Performances will be moved indoors if necessary.

Food Truck on site!

6:00 Monkey & Francine in the City of Tigers

Children's opera presented by the Seagle Music Colony. In this action-packed tale of bravery, smarts and family ties, Monkey & Francine change the Royal Monkey Kingdom.

7:00 Not My Sister

Original tunes and standards filled with harmonies and soul, harking back to groups like The Andrews Sisters, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmylou Harris

 

July 16

6:00 The Firebird

By the Puppet People from Schenectady, inspired by a Russian folktale and popular ballet, the mythical firebird comes to life and breaks the enchantment over the kingdom,

7:00 ADK Jazz Repertoire Ensemble

Jazz standards, funk, latin, swing, soul and more. The AJRE is a branch of the Adirondack Jazz Orchestra, made up of some of the finest jazz musicians in the county.

 

July 23

6:00 Music Everywhere

A fun-filled musical journey across the world. Children sing along, play musical games and act out songs.

7:00 Canal Street String Band

Some seriously fun old American music: fiddle tunes, sea shanties, cowboy songs, canal ditties, mountain music, western swing, with three-part harmonies, banjo, fiddle, twin mandolins, string bass & more.

 

July 30

6:00 The Rainbow Garden

Song, story and dance from different cultures to present a picture of humankind as a cultural garden with roots that reach out and mingle in the fertile soil of humanity.

7:00 Rick Davies Thugtet

An exciting and high-energy band specializing in Latin and Funk music from composer Rick Davies’ 3 internationally-known CD recordings as well as cover songs.
