The Lake Placid Sinfonietta presents “American Opus,” sponsored by the Victor Herbert Foundation. Concertmaster Daniel Szasz will wow audiences with Morton Lauridsen’s powerful “O Magnum Mysterium,” complemented by Jessie Montgomery’s “Strum." This performance also includes Stephen Paulus’ “Voices from the Gallery” with narrator Leigh Barrett, as well as pieces by Aaron Copland and George Gershwin. Concertgoers are invited to join the artists for a complimentary reception after the performance.
