Whitcomb’s Gallery presents COLORAMA, a playful, multi-media group show that revels in riotous colors in the middle of the gray months of January and February (apologies to the sublime grays and browns of winter).

JOIN US FOR THE OPENING PARTY on Wednesday, January 15, from 5p – 7p!  Meet the artists and enjoy spicy winter drinks, experimental hors d’oeuvres, music and an interactive quilt!

The seven featured artists work in a wide variety of mediums – oils and watercolors, stencils and spray painting, 3D printing, hand knit and embroidered clothing, photography, paintings on found materials, quilts, elaborate doodles and self-described “hi-fi cave art”.  A short video created by artist Charlie Reinertsen accompanies his wide format photographs of peat bogs.

The gallery space includes a comfortable living room area with dependable wi-fi and a wood stove, where you are welcome to come hang-out, hold a small meeting or work.  Located at 1598 NYS Route 22, Essex (across from the Whallonsburg Grange).
