Catered Leaf-Peeping Hike - Fundraiser led by Teens!

This is a teen-led fundraiser for the E'town Social Center outdoor rec program "G.R.I.T."  The teens will lead YOU on a catered, leap-peeping hike up a mountain in the Elizabethtown area - practicing their leadership skills including navigating, sharing information about nature. They will serve a fall-themed dinner of beef stew, home made bread and dessert at the top of the mountain!  (veggie alt is a vegetable sandwich)

PLEASE SIGN UP BY OCT 15 so we can order the meal!

The basic cost of the trip and meal is $20. As part of the fundraiser, you may increase your donation by purchasing a ticket for $30 or $40.

We will do a 1.3 mile hike up the Joel Harwood trail, part of the Blueberry Hill system.  Medium difficulty.

The Social Center started G.R.I.T. (Growing Resilliency In Teens) 3 years ago. The mission is to encourage teens to get outside their comfort zones while embracing the beauty and challenges that our local outdoors has to offer.  Past trips have included ice climbing, hikes, rock climbing and overnight canoe-camping.

We are depending on fundraising to execute a full program for the 2024-25 school year.
