Celebrate Holidays in Essex

Friday, December 6th: Tree Lighting & Caroling!

• 5pm - Holiday Puppet Show!

• 6pm Light up the Essex Town Hall tree, and enjoy cookies, cocoa, and caroling with friends and neighbors!

  • There will be a Soup Potluck during the event (donations accepted to benefit Lakeside School at Black Kettle Farm)

Saturday, December 7th: Celebrate Holidays in Essex!

• Shop Main Street Businesses and Restaurants!

• 9am-4pm Ornament Sale to benefit the Library! at Belden Noble Memorial Library

• 9am - 11am Pancake Breakfast with Santa at the Essex Firehouse (hosted by the Essex Masonic Lodge)

• 9:30am Santa & Mrs. Claus arrive at the Essex Ferry Dock

• 11am Reindeer Run - Main Street, Essex

• 11am - 1:30pm Cookie Decorating at the Essex Old Brick Store (next to Town Hall) Cookies baked by River & Rails Market with funding support from Stewart's Shops Holiday Match program.

• 11am - 1:30pm Kid's Crafts - hosted by Lakeside School at Black Kettle Farm (inside Town Hall)

• 11am-1pm Chili, Hot Soup, & Bake Sale! at the Community Church

• 1:30 pm A special concert from The Champlain Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines International at St. John's Church
